Clear, Cold, Light Winds along east ridge of Peak 1.

Snowpack

Snowpit dug on E/SE facing slope adjacent to the slide. 100cm HS, CT7, ECTP8. Both CT and ECT failed on thin facet layer above crust ~30cm down.

Avalanche

30cm depth at crown. R3 D2.5. Remote trigger by two splitboarders skinning along east ridge. Slide went over rock band in the couloir and triggered a secondary slide lower down the path.
