Snowpack
Hardly any snow at Hoosier Pass. The snow was limited to cross-loaded gullies. In areas where the snow was less than 60cm deep, the wind deposited snow had faceted out and was unsupportable in areas deeper than that the slabs were still one finger hard. Around Peak One, the snow coverage is inconsistent until you reach the upper end of the below treeline band. Near the treeline, the snowpack is completely faceted, with some facets in the middle of the snowpack almost falling out of the pit wall. In areas that are more exposed and wind-affected, there is a four-finger to one-finger wind slab sitting on weaker facets and I got some collapsing and wumphfing. The snowpack is still shallow 60-100cm near the treeline and will be easily overrun if the storm this weekend pans out.
