Snowpack

The pit was 105cm deep on a north facing aspect below treeline that is protected by the wind. 2 distinct ice layers, at 27cm and 30cm depth and a faceted layer at ground level were found. We performed an ECT and PST, results as followed. ECTX and PST95/100arr. We gave some "good measure" hits after finishing the ECT and we did get the faceted ground level snow to fail, it took some convincing. The 30cm depth ice layer has facets underneath, but we could not get to propagate, it would fail in isolation. Still some unsure-ness about the ice layers and how they could potentially react.
