Parked around 780m elevation on FSR skinned about two hours to the top of Anif peak along the valley access beside Mt Mulligan. Observed a recent slab avalanche off a cliff section on a NE aspect of the north end of Anif with pin wheeling under underneath a few cliff sections. Stayed in lower angle terrain. Skinned up a steep south aspect of Mt Mulligan in dense trees with no signs of instability. Boarded down the north aspect of low angle terrain on Mt Mulligan into an open cut block which had a crust layer. Overall good snow and kept it mellow due to fog and considerable treeline avy hazard for the day.
