Weather

Day felt springy with cloud cover ranging from fog to broken with periods of intermittent S-1. Temperatures fluctuated from mid 20's to mid 30's.

Snowpack

59" snow depth with a four day storm total of 19" / ~2" SWE at the McClure Summit study plot location. Nothing too concerning in the snowpack structure near Lone Tree Bowl. Rounding depth hoar is present at the base which is dry to moist. Mid Jan facets have rounded considerably since last site visit and last comparable ob on Huntsmans. 2cm crust down about 20"/ 50cms from the surface would be a layer of concern with a sustained rapid warm-up or anomalous rain event.
