Weather

Clear skies. Moderate winds from the SSW brought light wind loading which calmed by the afternoon.

Snowpack

Near treeline, height of snow ranged averaged 55cm on southerlies and 75cm on northerlies. Observed collapsing throughout the tour. A 10" slab ranging from fist-1f on the hand hardness scale rests above very weak facets near the ground. An extended column test failed and propagated from moderate results (ECTP12).

Avalanche

Several old avalanches which slid late last week could still be seen.
