Mount Mackenzie - (outside ski area boundary) investigating the bond at the November 12th crust interface. We found a 1.5cm layer of facets overlying this well defined crust which was an average of 80cm below the surface where we dug. A compression test resulted in an easy failure (8 taps) with a sudden collapse fracture character. We also did a propagation saw test which resulted in a score of 37/100, end.
