Massive Whoomps and shooting cracks almost every 50m while skinning up Summit Creek. Shooting cracks would propagate 5-10 ms around the skier breaking trail. One massive shooting crack was triggered while skiing down past a small wind-loaded cornice. The crack was 30 cms deep, probably on that Jan crust, and extended across the entire length of the cornice. We would have felt incredibly uncomfortable on anything steeper than the low angle terrain on summit creek as nothing was really steep enough to slide. The skiing was fun, totally bluebird, with almost no wind until a gentle breeze started from NE in afternoon. We skied 5-15 cms of fresh non-wind affected powder. Temp was -16 at 1000 and -8 at 1500
