Wonderful day on the Begbie Shoulder. Local cracking (about a ski's length) starting at TL and worsening at BTL on a 10cm, denser, layer at the surface. Widespread zipper crust at TL that did not affect the skiing. Top of the shoulder is layered with 4F wind-affected snow. Dug a partial profile @ 1960m on a NE aspect lee of the shoulder (wind-loaded). HS: 258cm. Top 10cm layer of F+ snow. Generally speaking, right side up snow from F to P with a series of MF crusts and a couple of hail/graupel layers. CTE 4, 4 RP down 10cm CTM 13, 11 SP down 28cm CTH 29 RP down 78cm
