Quick trip up to the Mt Murray Cabin, poked around Mt Greenberry before skiing out. Didn't do a pit on this trip, but at the summit of Greenberry, where it is open with small sub-alpine trees, the snow was wind affected and had built into thin 5-10 cm slabs that would break easily, but seemed to only propagate a few meters maximum. As soon as you were back in the trees, the skiing was lovely. 20-30 cm of powder (from Wednesday/Thursday's storm?) was still very low density on top of very consolidated snow. You could get this storm layer to slide a bit, but no real slab character. We rode fairly mellow (<30 deg) densely treed slopes back down to the valley, predominantly on NE - W aspects. We did not see any natural slab releases, just small (<size 0.5) loose wets off trees and rocks.
