This profile was done directly above the 3 avalanches triggered by snowmobiles on Sat 08 Feb 2020 on the NE facing slopes south of Apex Proper below point 2130m (Ron’s Ridge). The avys were not in Powder 8 bowl as reported. CTM 18 RP down 15 cms CTH 23 SC down 143cms whole column failed on depth hoar. Avy start zones: Bowl features Scree bed surface in start zone. Convex start zone. See pics. Cross loaded Terrain trap (deep gully in run out) 150 cms new snow in 7 days High winds from NW for several days with a brief switch to S-SW winds on previous evening. Crown fracture 2m+
