Skied North Burstall Pass yesterday along with several other parties out enjoying the beautiful weather. A nice ~5-10 cm of fresh snow covering the crusty, sun- and wind-affected slab in the alpine made for fast skiing. We did not observe any signs of instability but we stuck to mellow slopes. Saw evidence of a couple of small (sz 1-1.5) point release and slab avalanches on the steep slopes of Mt Birdwood, likely old. Overall a great day to be outside.
