A beautiful day to be in the mountains! Rapid warming on sunny aspects. Cool in the shade

Avalanche

While skinning in sulphur creek basin observed a reasonably large natural avalanche on a NE aspect on expectation mountain. Slide likely ran yesterday or this morning. Observation was made around noon. Appeared to have fractured on the late February facets, below a rock band, near tree line
