Weather

Mostly bluebird with a few high clouds and temps in the teens with a light breeze out of the NW.

Snowpack

Traveled around the compass below treeline between 9000-1000ft. Ski pen ranged 10-20cm and boot pen 40cm. HS generally 250cm. Observed no cracking, no collapsing, and no recent signs of activity. Released a small wind drift on a steep NW slope. Dug a few pits on NW, SW, and NNW around 9600-9800ft. Pit #1: Girly turns, SW, 9800, HS 250, 23*, ski pen 10cm, boot pen 40cm, CT13 RP @30cm, CT19 RP @40cm, ECTN11 @30cm, thin melt-freeze layers @40cm & @105cm. Pit #2: Bruiser, NW, 9600, 32*, HS 250, ski pen 20cm, boot pen 40cm, CT14 RC @20cm, CT17 RP @40cm, CT26 SP @80cm, ECTN16 @30cm. Pit #3: Rick Chopper, NNW, 9600, 30*, CT16 SC @40cm, ECTX
