Weather

Overcast until 1pm or so, then very light snow flurries. Temperature a little below freezing, light winds mostly from the SW.

Snowpack

Eight or so inches of new snow, mostly from a day ago. High moisture content. Storm slab is adhering well to the snow below. No signs of instability beyond minor surface sloughing, even on the steeper pitches (>40º). A thin, delicate wind slab was found in a few exposed places, but the snowpack was eminently skiable, though it got pretty dense down low.
