Snowpack

South facing terrain near treeline was 20 to 40cm deep with a 10cm thick melt freeze crust and 10cm of weak snow below the crust. Near treeline north facing terrain had around a 100cm snowpack with a thin wind crust in exposed areas over 50cm of weak snow. Below treeline north facing trees was around 80cm of all faceted weak snow. The snow surfaces very from sun crust on solar aspects at all elevations, to wind crusts near and above treeline, to facets near and below treeline on northerly aspects.
