4" new snow from 12/22-12/23 containing .4 H2O. 24" new snow containing 1.45" of H2O in the last 10 days. Sustained high winds through the evening of the 22nd and 23rd daytime. West/Northwest with gusts to 80mph.
Avalanche
Low angle slope failed sometime in the last 24 hours. East aspect at 11,500'. HS-N-R2-D1.5-I. 27 degrees at crown line. Bed surface is old October melt freeze crust. Widespread cracks traveling 300+'. Explosives testing in steeper adjacent terrain yielded no avalanches.
