Snowpack
The snowpack along the 145 corridor remains quite thin. Most paths hold insufficient snow for avalanches to reach the highway. The incoming storm will do little to change things with only 1-5" in the forecast. What will change it more is the week+ of high pressure forecast for the weekend into next week. I anticipate lots of melting with sunny skies and lots of rocks sticking out of the snow that will hasten melt. There is not a whole lot of snow structure to discuss as it is so thin with mainly just storm snow on the ground, with exception to the northerly paths near the Ophir turn, where the snowpack is deeper and largely made of well developed facets.
