Hard Packed Trail Conditions

Taught an AST 1 Field day up at Black Prince Cirque (to Warspite Lake). We did not need our snowshoes as the trail up was hard packed and snow pack fairly shallow at the lake. Snowing pretty heavily on the way out on Hwy 40 so probably 10 - 15 cm new coming. Most likely can get away with micro-spikes until a significant amount of precip accumulates.
