Snow. Heavy at times. Light winds. 6" inches of new snow.
Snowpack
Snow depth averaged 50cm. Unsupportive snowpack below the new snow made for difficult trail breaking. Ground obstacles are starting to get covered but the lack of a supportable snowpack still means hitting rocks and trees. Did not experience any collapsing but did note cracking in the new snow. Below treeline there was no slab, just loose unconsolidated snow. ECTX x 3 columns just crumbled under loading steps. There was a minor density inversion in the top couple inches of new snow.
