Snowpack

@ 11,000' east aspect, Monday night's storm snow had settled with yesterday's heat. E-S aspects had variable pockets of wind loaded snow from last night and this morning, up to 30cm deep. New deposition was not bonding well to yesterday's interface.

Avalanche

Skier-triggered windslab above treeline in southeast-facing start zone of S Couloir. Slope is over 45* steepness. Slab was 15-30cm deep, ~30m across, and ran the length of the couloir. Freshly transported snow failed on yesterday's interface.
