Snowpack

Total stake is down from 10' to around 9.5' at the roadside location. Recent warm temps have resulted in a melt-freeze crust on the surface in the flatter terrain above the cliffs with no crust observed on the steeper N facing areas adjacent to the start zones. The crust was supportable to skis with boot pen around 15-20cms. Two distinct, thin GP layers in the upper snowpack were un-reactive in long column tests. SH on the surface may survive to get buried on the sheltered N facing slopes. See profile for more detail
