Snowpack
A 6 centimeter crust topped a 165 cm deep snowpack on a south facing slope at 10,300 feet. Two more crusts are intact in the upper snowpack at 150 cm and 144 cm from the ground. The crust at 144 cm produced the only failure in the snowpack with extended column tests, ECTN18. Two rounding facet layers are found in the midpack, unreactive and barely identifiable. The depth hoar is rounding and moist. Surface snow was beginning to warm, making for good low angle corn skiing on the way down
