Location: N 39 32.208 W 106 12.129 Elevation: 11,100' Aspect: West Depth: 170 cm Layers: 85, 120, 135, 152 Discussion: Recent snowfall consolidated into an 18cm storm slab sitting on top of graupel. The snowpack was actively settling as the layer of graupel collapsed under the weight of a 180lb skier on 185cm skis. ECT results: P 10 @ 152, P 15 @ 135 Decision: Bailed and enjoyed lunch with my Dad.
