Weather

The skies were mostly clear with no visible blowing snow at ridgeline. Temperatures remained in the mid teens throughout the trip.

Snowpack

The snowpack depth was less than 100 cm on the northeast facing slope at 10,700'. The overall structure was slab over weak snow. There was a significant crust at the top of the depth hoar layer with a compression test result of 22, sudden collapse. Another distinct 1 cm facet layer at 55cm from the ground produced hard, non propagating extended column test results,ECTN 21
