Very light snowfall increased in intensity throughout the morning, leaving about 2" of new snow on the groung by the time we left. Visibility was obscured by low-level clouds and snowfall.
Snowpack
At 10,000 feet on a southeast aspect, snowpack depth was 60 cm with 10 cm of recent, very low-density snow resting on a 3 cm crust that formed last week. The rest of the snowpack was 1-2 mm facets separated by a 2 cm crust at 20 cm from the ground. No results in Extended Column tests. On a north facing slope at 10,000 feet, snowpack depth was roughly 90 cm. A quick test pit produced moderate non-propagating results on the October depth hoar layer, 25 cm from the ground
