This morning at the CAIC study plot 4.5" of new snow with 0.45" of water content. Light snow during the day picked up in the early afternoon, but additional accumulation was modest.
Snowpack
Surface conditions remain solid with ski penetration in the 10-15cm range. Signs of instability- cracking and collapsing are rare. No cracking observed and only one rumbling collapse on a NW aspect below treeline observed in the last several days.
