Quick report

Riding Quality
Good

We went into the day fairly reserved because of the Considerable/high/high forecast. We did a few little tests on the way up and some ski cuts. New snow seems to be bonding to the January 17th crust in the areas we skied. Crust was down about 60cm. We skied treed N, NW and W facing slopes between 1100M and 1300M, up to about 40 degrees steep. We observed no signs of instability besides the standard minor sloughs on the steeper slopes.

Snowpack

Didn't dig a full pit but we did a few quick spots checks. Isolated a 30x30 column down to the Jan. 17 crust (aprx. 60 cm down) and tried to get it to fail on that interface but it seemed well bonded.
