Fresh Tracks Above The Clouds

Still in assessment mode and out conditions north of Elkford today. Trail breaking conditions are much more forgiving than the same time last year! We rode 25 cm of powder over the late November crust. It didn't seem to get as warm in the alpine as the weather forecast predicted...we saw no new avalanches and had no results from our test pits.
