Warm day with temps > freezing, increasing clouds and increasing winds.

Snowpack

On SE aspect >= TL, the snowpack was about 80 cm deep. The snow surface was a CR layer, turning into WG at about noon. Below the snow surface, I found a sandwich of CR and weak FC layers with an FC layer failing across the column with ECTP10. The lower of the snowpack consisted of FC layers between 4F to 1F hard. On the NE aspect, >= TL, the snowpack was deeper, 144 cm depth. The upper part of the snowpack has DF layers from the recent snowfall, with wind packed layer between the recent snow and an FC layer. This FC layer was reactive with ECTP13. See snowpits for more details.
