Increasing cloud cover, and light snowfall.
Snowpack
On N aspect < TL the snowpack was weak and reactive with wumpfing and remote triggered Soft slab, D1 avalanche around rollovers and near rocks. Both the whumpf and the remote triggered avalanche failed on an F- hard Facet layer under a 45 - 50 cm thick 4F hard slab. See pictures and snowpits for more details.
Avalanche
Remote triggered soft slab, D1 avalanche on 41 deg slope. The avalanche was triggered from near rocks about 30 m away. See images and snowpits for more details.
