Weather

The temperature at the trailhead at 11:15 AM was 19F with Overcast skies. Snow began around noon. Light snowfall continued until leaving Mayflower Gulch around 3:00 PM.

Snowpack

Weak surface snow composed of about 20-30cm of near-surface facets and melt-freeze crusts on sunny slopes. A snowpit on a northeast aspect near the treeline revealed large depth hoar at the base of the snowpack that was not reactive to snowpack tests.
