Increasing and lowering clouds late morning, with intermittently ridges obscured by early afternoon. S-1 in Aspen midday; S1 Carbondale mid afternoon, w minimal accumulations. 10* F temperature drop in valleys by mid afternoon.
Snowpack
a few inches of more or less continuous above ~9500 feet throughout zone. Shaded gullies and leeward features above ~11,000 feet look to have snow cover deeper than terrain anchors.
Avalanche
No slides observed, though one north-facing gully near the Maroon Bells trailhead looked to have some old debris. No crown visible.
