Made an attempt to get up to Carey Lakes today off the Cruickshank Main logging rd. We were stopped a short distance up the Cruickshank road by numerous fallen trees just after the first bridge. We cleared a few small ones but a row of numerous large Maples and Alders ended our chainsawless adventure. Have a feeling this will be an often occurring theme as we explore more logging roads this spring. If you are venturing out be prepared and bring a saw.
