Snow Conditions

Skied Million Dollar Couloir and then Rock n Roll in quite good conditions. Views were amazing with almost no cloud cover all day. Snow was wind affected across Cayoosh but we didn't encounter any thick crusts or see signs of any natural avalanches. Most of the snow was a bit heavy from the wind effect but still skied quite well. Sluffing in the couloir was minimal. Rock n Roll had been in the sun a while by the time we climbed up (circa 3pm). The snow at the top of the ridge was heavy from the sun effect and we saw quite extensive pin wheeling. However, snow on the line itself was surprisingly still light and skied beautifully.
