Dug a quick pit near Rockbound Lake after skinning up for some exercise. As advertised, found the snowpack to consist of two parts--generally bonded surface snow above the Jan 30 interface (~40cm) and bottomless facets and depth hoar below it. Very upside down, suspicious that things will stay sporty in the coming weeks.
