Fresh tracks into mount west today, 6-8” fresh snow on top of a fairly compacted base. Melting/raining in parking lot but still below zero up top. Snow was sticky. Top ~4” layer of snow was reactive on hills and steeper aspects when disturbed, observed many cracks and small breaks. Lots of wind drift snow and flat light/cloud cover.
