New snow on the steps higher up was breaking up into 10-15cm deep slabs on more exposed open sections as expected. The new snow from Friday Saturday seems to be bonding well to the snow layer below. It also looks like as expected snow was transported from ridge top to the slopes below. Overall amazing for early season, though still a bit thin in some spots at lower elevation.
