Elevation 6220 ft Aspect -w/nw Pen. Foot 28 cm Light wind -6.3 Snow depth 245 cm Between 245 and 210 depth was fist Between 210 and 195 depth was 4 fingers Between 195 and 165 depth was 1 finger Between 165 and 145 depth was pencil Between 145 and ground was knife Did temperatures every 10 cm from 245 cm to 105 cm and pretty much dropped consistently by .3 Did a compression test and it did not fracture CTN Surprised the snow pack at this location was so good and bonded. Beautiful day riding and saw very few people out. Days like today, make me happy to live in the north!!! :)
