Conditions were okay at mount bruce today

Weather was perfect today
Snowpack
Dug two snowpits today. One at 1870m, and one at 1990m. Compression test 1: 1870m CTE4 SP Down 40cm on DH Compression test 2: 1990m CTE6 SP Fown 35cm on DH. Top of snowpack was firm powder. The bottom half was sugar. There was also a rain crust with 5cm of recent snow on top
