Flatiron Bowl

The day started off skinning through re-frozen snow pocked with post holes as we ascended from the car at 1200m. Sunny and pleasant by 1500m with 5cm on supportive crust. No signs of instability. The same 5cm made for big smiles descending Flatiron bowl. Minus 1 deg at summit with moderate E winds. Some avalanche debris under cornices to skiers right. Avoided obvious terrain trap which was the tarn.
