Dug down to 1.5m for a compression test at 2000m on teddy bear trees, snowpack depth was 1.9m. Failure at 45cm on first moderate tap. At 1.5m the snow was faceted with 1m of a hard slab on top, no reactivity from this during the compression test. There was recent avalanche debris in grizzly path.
