Melt Out - Ice Climb

1cm of new snow overnight and snowing S-1 throughout the day. Winds were moderate from the south and became stronger as we drove south towards the ice field centre. There was blowing snow in the terrain above the route as well as along the highway. Sky stayed overcast throughout the day. Temperatures hovered around 0, it was +1.5 when we returned to the car. Ice was fairly plastic, thin and hollow at the top. Last pitch was in despite appearing not to be from the road.
