Log cabin

Wanted to go see if there's now enough snow to cover the alders on the more southerly runs at log cabin - indeed, they are well buried. Some strong wind gusts throughout the night on Saturday on the pass, continuing into Sunday, with warm air temps. Snow was falling as precip throughout the day. There was also significant wind transport at both lower and higher elevations. Not unexpectedly, reactive slabs had formed around and even below treeline - we did not venture very high and even avoided convex/steep microfeatures lower down. A good day for a walk among the subalpine firs.
