Skied trees NE of St Marks in boot-knee deep fresh powder. Coverage is thick and ski quality was all time for the North Shore. Polar, shaded and wind protected aspects skied best as there was no crust nor wind effect noticeable. South aspects had a supportive crust with 15 cm new snow on top and skied well too. We triggered a small 0.5sz storm slab at the start of the run with 15 cm thickness. Day started cold ish, then got progressively cloudy, windy and stormy. When we left the parking lot it was dumping, but 2C. If it stays cold, there's no need to go far away for top quality runs.
