Black Prince Trees

Another good day at The Prince. Several other groups out enjoying the long weekend. 2cm new snow at the parking lot, 5cm on the skin track at ~2100m, and 10+ above. Previous tracks were noticeable but lots of room for soft turns. Stopped at the sparse trees ~2350m with hard wind affected snow below the fresh. Mostly cloudy throughout the day, but higher ceiling than expected. Light winds at the start of the day. Strong gusts developed at 2300m by mid afternoon. Storm hadn’t arrived as of 3pm.
