We triggered a size 1 avalanche (on purpose) on a small isolated slope by breaking a cornice. The cornice broke easily with only one firm jump, the block that broke from the cornice was about 2 m long and 75 m tall. The Avalanche ran out 50 to 60 m and laterally propagated about 100 m and ran out into a small plateau. The Crown was approximately 0.5 m thick. The slope varied between ~32 to 42°.
