New snow S1 to S2 all day. Calm to light easterly winds. Overcast.
Snowpack
6-8in of new, low density snow in the alpine on top of a stout melt freeze crust. Fist hard snow under the crust in spots, likely isolated. Crust was breakable while booting but completely supportable under skis.
Avalanche
We witnessed one very small (<D1) dry loose in the Dead Elk and one D1 dry loose in the Dragontail. Both were natural triggers.
