We kept climbing and the rain kept chasing us, turning to sleet at treeline. Moderate-strong winds at treeline. Snowpack saturated with rain at treeline and below. Snow depth on N aspect tapers quickly below 1000m. 5-10 cm of new snow at and near treeline already saturated by afternoon rain.
