Snow pit in clearcut at 1647 m of Michel Creek headwaters near Corbin, BC. Pit was approximately 20 degrees and was west facing. HST 145 cm. Several hard (knife) thin (~2 cm) crusts down 35, 55, and 75 cm. CT 24 in the recent storm snow, down 35 cm (SP). Bottom of 70 cm of snowpack was faceted. No signs of recent avalanches. Wind picked up later in day and little solar input today. -4*C at 9 am, and -9*C at 6 pm.
